Saturday, September 10th, 2011The Top Fan Favorite Nascar Sprint Cup Drivers for 2011
NASCAR has become really popular the last few years, and several fans are new to the Nascar Racing. Fans like being at a race in person and have found that Nascar Tickets are readily available. I began watching Nascar racing in 2003 and quickly became a fan of Matt Kenseth, who was at that point driving the #17 Dewalt Ford for Roush Racing. fact that Matt was different from most of the full time racers, always staying calm, even if another driver may have wrecked him. I was very happy that Kenseth won it all that season, even if NASCAR had the urge to modify the point system following that season. #17 Matt Kenseth is a fantastic driver, he is currently racing the number 17 Crown Royal car.
Tony Stewart known as “SMOKE” drives the #14 Home Depot car, is another one of my favorites. While his demeanor couldn’t be more different than Kenneth’s, he really knows how to win. He has done very well in every level of professional racing. From TQ Midgets, to the Indy 500, to eventual NASCAR points, Stewart is the man. He has chilled out to a certain degree, as he was known to mix it up with the other drivers on & off the tracK. He seems content to let his driving skills do his talking for him.
How about Jimmie Johnson who had turned himself into the Tiger Woods of NASCAR Racing. He has driven his number 48 Lowes Chevy to an unbelievable five consecutive Sprint Cup Championships. Not even the legend himself, Richard Petty, managed to do that. Johnson faces some hurdles, as some fans are tired of seeing him win. Even those (fans have to give him props however.
Kyle Busch has seperated himself his older siblings shadow, having tremendous success in the 18 M & M’s car. The thing I enjoy about Kyle is he lives to race. Busch has driven in all three races, NASCAR SPRINT CUP, Nationwide, and the Truck series. He has even swept all three Nascar Series in one weekend. He’s strong and young and offers tons of excitement and energy to NASCAR.
The final of my favorite NASCAR drivers is Tony Raines. He currently does not have a sponsor, but the guy is tough. Despite regularly beginning at the rear of the field, he makes the best of it. He usually manages to get the most out of the car, even though he does not have top flight equipment. It would be really fantastic to this veteran driver get a shot in a sponsored ride in 2011.
The one driver that leads in merchandise sales for Nascar is #88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. The Nascar Sprint Cup season is off to an fantastic start, catch the fever.
